Position Summary:
Voodoo Brewing Company is seeking a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. 

As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing high-quality dishes that reflect our innovative menu and commitment to exceptional dining experiences. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a dynamic team that values creativity and a dedication to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and portion guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients.
• Monitor food stock levels and communicate inventory needs to the kitchen manager or chef.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of food to minimize waste.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
• Adhere to Voodoo Brewing Company’s standards of quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Comfortable working in a high-temperature environment.
