Member Development Representative
As the only regional chamber in North Fulton, the Greater North Fulton Chamber (GNFCC) is here to serve the needs of our business members representing all six cities–Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Mountain Park, Roswell, and Sandy Springs. The Chamber grows business, develops talent, and leads regional prosperity. Position Scope The Member Development Representative will be responsible for the following: Membership Development
▪ Prospect, develop, and sell new Chamber memberships across the region
▪ Develop membership sales presentation and schedule personal visits for the purpose of recruiting new members
▪ Actively seek newly-opened businesses and follow up appropriately
▪ Nurture member renewals and target major accounts as assigned
▪ Grow the Chairman’s Circle Membership by upgrading current members or recruiting new Chairman’s Circle members
▪ Achieve budgeted revenue goals – minimum $8,000 in new memberships monthly
▪ Update Membership database daily
▪ Coordinate with staff accountant to collect delinquent dues and maintain billing accuracy
▪ Maintain knowledge of goals, objectives, and services provided by the organization including member benefits, Chamber events, etc.
▪ Membership Engagement
▪ Assist with weekly ProAlliance coordination and rotation schedule
▪ Coordinate cross-selling sponsorships with Events Coordinator
▪ Assist Chamber members in taking full advantage of their membership benefits and programs
▪ Participate in monthly new member orientation to encourage participation and retention in the Chamber
▪ Participate in new member ribbon cuttings
▪ Update bi-weekly membership report to VP Member Growth & Engagement documenting prospects and sales activity
▪ Support and participate in Chamber events and programs to build a network for retention and increased non-dues revenue
▪ Attend Chamber events and assist with any assigned duties to include monthly lunches, business after hours, and annual events Required:
▪ Must have prior or current sales experience
▪ Demonstrated ability to create a prospect pipeline and follow up regularly
▪ Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
▪ Ability to work independently
▪ Demonstrated ability to interact with senior level business leaders
▪ Strong presence; superior interpersonal communications skills, exhibiting a positive and professional demeanor. Desired Skill:

Compensation Member Development Representatives receive base plus commission. The Chamber also provides a generous benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k) compensation program with employer matching. This position is in office and enjoys 20 paid holidays, and up to 15 days PTO with flexible schedule for team members to prioritize family commitments. The Greater North Fulton Chamber is located in the 10000 building at Avalon. Gated and dedicated employee parking is provided.
