Investor Events Manager

Position Scope
The Investor Events Manager serves as event planner and communications specialist for a variety of programs and events that help position North Fulton as a top tier region. The role will report to the Vice President and will provide day-to-day execution, leadership, and budget responsibilities of several key events that drive the region forward, position the Chamber and our investors as top of mind for elected officials, and create an opportunity for Investor engagement at the highest levels, including:
Investor Events
- Plan and execute annual Strategic Leadership Visit trip, including working closely with regional ED partners on researching locations and topics that are timely and relevant to Chamber stakeholders, coordinating scouting visit with leadership, coordinating all travel logistics, securing locations, accommodations, vendors, and sponsors, curating engaging sessions, managing budgets, and coordinating all communications efforts
- Plan and execute annual Washington, D.C. Fly-In fundraising trip, including managing all travel logistics, securing locations, accommodations, vendors, and sponsors, curating engaging sessions, managing budgets, and coordinating all communications efforts
- Plan and execute the annual Elected Officials Reception including the development of VIP elected officials lists in tandem with Investor Invitations and securing of sponsors
- Manage North Fulton Day at the Capitol annually coordinating a robust lineup of legislators, speakers, and sponsors
- Plan and execute annual North Fulton Futures Summit including development of topics, securing speakers, event logistics, and communications
- Plan and execute Investor quarterly events with support of Investor Relations Coordinator
Advocacy
- Perform staff lead responsibilities with the Government Affairs Committee to include meetings, speakers, topics, agendas, minutes, and reports
- Staff lead coordinating logistics and communications of North Fulton Municipal Association quarterly meetings
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in event management, marketing, and communications
- Degree in hospitality, marketing, communications, public relations, community development, or business preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple events and competing priorities
- Excellent communication – writing, editing, copywriting, social/marketing writing
- Ability to travel out-of-state three time a year, for up to 4 days at a time
- Ability to work independently, multi–task, handle confidential and sensitive material with the highest degree of integrity, diplomacy, and discretion
- Demonstrated ability to interact with senior level executives

- Project management or program management experience

Compensation
Compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Chamber also provides a generous benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k) compensation program with employer matching. This position is in office and enjoys 20 paid holidays, and up to 15 days PTO. The Greater North Fulton Chamber is located at 10000 Avalon. Gated and dedicated employee parking and on-site gym are provided.
