Presenter: Laurie Michaelson, Kennesaw State Univeristy

Laurie thrives on research and big-picture thinking and her career has reflected this strategic approach. With over 15 years of experience working in marketing and communications in agency, corporate, government and nonprofit environments, Laurie has gained invaluable strategic business knowledge. Aside from her corporate and agency experience, Laurie graduated with a Master's in Advertising and Strategic Planning from the University of Florida.

Currently, Laurie runs LHM Strategic, a digital communications agency that specializes in strategic communications, social media, and website development. Aside from running LHM Strategic, Laurie is a full-time marketing lecturer at Kennesaw State University Coles College of Business.

Laurie is passionate about preparing the next generation of communications leaders and supporting others in reaching their leadership and business potential.
