Today, one in four students in Roswell public schools qualify for free or reduced breakfast and lunch. Many of these children return home after school to empty houses due to parents who are working. Such kids have limited options for academic help, mentoring, and healthy food after school, which will impact the rate of high school completion. For North Fulton to continue to grow and prosper as a community, we must help all of our neighbors prepare to be successful and independent. STAR House provides a safe and nurturing, after-school environment for children that includes tutoring, mentoring, snacks. supplies, enrichment activities and recreation - free to families.
